Leadership development

Leadership is a lofty word. And a mushy one.

Thousands of books define it and no two agree. The best leaders I know stop hunting for a definition and define it for themselves. Leadership development is the work of helping someone do that. That’s where I come in.

My clients include the most senior people who run major law firms and legal departments, and the newer leaders coming up behind them: a first-time practice group leader, a new office managing partner, a new member of an executive or management committee, a new equity or income partner.

Each new level brings a new learning curve, and most leaders face it alone. My role is to make sure they don’t have to.

Leadership is the sole focus of my work. Everything I do is grounded in it.
